With a strong emphasis on the in-game economy, it seems like this could be EVE Online set in the Ming Dynasty. Of course, there is some impressive PvP and fast-paced combat to be had as well. Sounds perfect for gamers in the mood for some good ol' fashioned fisticuffs and sword fighting.
