50 Cent: Bulletproof G-Unit Edition hands-on

In all, the multiplayer game features 16 different characters, five different levels and five different modes. The latter include Smash and Grab, a straight-up deathmatch and Slaughter the Pig, where one player tries to hold onto a flag for as long as possible while the other three try to gun him down and take it. There's also Breaking and Entering, where one team protects a handful of cars while the other tries to smash them.

For our money, though, the best match type is King of Bling. It's a basic deathmatch, but when your opponents go down, they have to mash a button to get back up. In the meantime, you can kick them repeatedly to earn money and jewelry. Whoever has the most bling when the match ends, wins.

After graduating from college in 2000 with a BA in journalism, I worked for five years as a copy editor, page designer and videogame-review columnist at a couple of mid-sized newspapers you've never heard of. My column eventually got me a freelancing gig with GMR magazine, which folded a few months later. I was hired on full-time by GamesRadar in late 2005, and have since been paid actual money to write silly articles about lovable blobs.
