Community’s long-term aspirations - six seasons and a movie - are back on track after Yahoo! snapped up the show and sent its final season into production. Today brings the first trailer for that last stint of episodes, and by the looks of things, Greendale Community College remains as quirky as ever.

As shown above, the show’s tendency toward humourous pop. culture references is still its bread and butter. Recycling the Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer for their own riff - Community: Age Of Yahoo - the teaser includes a gaggle of recognisable nods, along with a few new additions to its cast.
Those newbies include Paget Brewster as consultant Francesca “Frankie” Dart, the group’s “New Shirley”, and Keith David as Elroy Patashnik, an inventor who dubs himself “nobody’s fourth Ghostbuster.”
Starring Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash and Ken Jeong, the sixth season of Community will debut on March 17, only on Yahoo! Screen.
