Silent House , the forthcoming real-time horror movie starring Elizabeth Olsen, has released a new clip online, introduced by none other than Miss Olsen herself.
The new footage does contain any scares or spoilers, but does contain a brief bit of exposition that sets up the fright-fest that follows.
Take a look at the new clip, below…
As we said, it’s fairly slight stuff, but as a quick setting-up device, it does its job nicely. Olsen plays a young woman who finds herself sealed in her family’s run-down lake house, and as you might imagine, she isn’t in there alone.
Presented as though it were filmed in one continuous take, the film promises to entirely immerse the audience in Olsen’s ordeal, refusing to cut away from the nightmare as it unfolds.
Directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, the film opens in the UK on 4 May 2012. And if you haven’t already seen Olsen in Martha Marcy May Marlene , she’s definitely one worth watching…
