Alright! The show's over, everyone! It's time to stop being pretending you're not going to buy a PlayStation Vita. Sony has released an 11 minute video showing off the newest Uncharted game, and it looks absolutely, positively impeccable. Don’t believe us? See for yourself...
We’re not all that shocked at the beautiful graphics or the fantastic animations and voice acting – that’s sort of par for the course for the Uncharted series. No, the thing that surprises us most is that it manages to take things we didn’t like about the console Uncharted games and make them work. Needing to use the Sixaxis to balance Nathan as he crossed over beams in Drake’s Fortune felt forced, and didn't really work all that well. Now that the indicator is on the screen it looks like it will have a more intuitive feel, moving it from an awkward gimmick to an immersive treat that falls right in line with Uncharted's mission statement of delivering a cinematic experience.
There’s still no release date, but we’re really hoping it comes out soon. Like, really soon. Actually, we’d be fine if it was out now. Is it out now? Can someone check that for us? Hold on, we’re going to call the developers, we’re tired of all this waiting…
