N is for Ned

Ned is the name given to John Carter’s inquisitive 18-year-old nephew, more commonly known as Edgar Rice Burroughs. Edgar adores his Uncle John and as a child enjoyed listening to wild tales he spun that took him on journeys to places Edgar could hardly even imagine. Burroughs receives an urgent telegram from his Uncle and rushes to him—only to find it may be too late.

The story of John Carter has influenced films we all know and love, from Star Wars to Superman . To introduce you to the world of John Carter we’ve put together a full A-Z which will run all the way through to 9 March when John Carter hits cinemas, so make sure you check SFX every day until then.
