Pikmin 2 Wii release date announced, discounts coming to Donkey Kong, Smash Bros

We're still not exactly clear on why it took so long for us to get a Wii version ofPikmin 2in North America, but at long last it willarriveon June 10, 2012.

What's more, it will be released for the dirt cheap price of $19.99, which is fairly generous considering Nintendo just loves the $49.99 price point. Just ask Donkey Kong Country Returns which has been at $49.99 since its release in November 2010. Though that too will be reduced soon to $29.99. Super Smash Bros. Brawl will also be reduced to $29.99.

Mario Power Tennis will also be added to the Nintendo Selects line-up at $19.99.

At last, our plan to starve out Nintendo until they lowered their prices on these excellent games has worked. Now we've got no excuse for not picking up these gems. The collective price of $99.95 for Donkey Kong Country Returns, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Pikmin 2, and Mario Power Tennis is a bargain of the highest order.
