Karen Gillian joins Ti West's revenge Western In A Valley of Violence

Karen Gillian looks to have impressive Blumhouse Team on their forthcoming psycho-horror Oculus , as she’s now been signed to star in Ti West’s revenge Western - In A Valley of Violenc e .

The Scottish thespian’s Doctor Who days will soon be a mere memory as Gillian is set to make a name for herself as the go-to girl for ghoulish movies. She joins fellow Blumhouse muse Ethan Hawke (who also appeared in The Purge and Sinister ), John Travolta and Taissa Farmiga in a murky tale about a small town hotel set in the 1890s.

Ti West is known for making the more horrific titles of the Blumhouse catalogue so expect to be freaked. There will be blood, there will be bullets, and there will be Ethan Hawke seeking revenge for the murder of his best friend.

In A Valley Of Violence begins shooting this summer with a 'tbc' on the release date. Can’t wait to see the flame-haired one until then?

Karen Gillian will appear in Oculus which reaches the UK 13 June after a healthy return at the US box-office. She’ll also star in Marvel’s Guardian Of The Galaxy as the villainous Nebula, and even has a role in ABC's comedy Selfie this autumn.
