Here's what people are building in Fallout 4's Vault-Tec Workshop DLC so far

The Vault-Tec Workshop DLC for Fallout 4 has been out for nearly a week, which would be about long enough to file for a dig permit in real life. But in Vault 88 that's already been enough time to build up massive subterranean settlements thriving through both form and function. Here are six of the creations that have caught my eye so far.

Xaraan's Vault 88 has an impressive sense of scale and architectural design, as well as plenty of attention paid to details like a fully stocked bar and tailor ("with all the clothes people that wear vault suits all the time will never buy"). This is truly the City Under a Hill all settlement builders should aspire to.

On the other end of the spectrum, Identitools' vault definitely isn't a front to lure wanderers into a Soylent Green factory.

With a little bit of neon signage, Aidandrums transforms Vault 88 from utilitarian survival shelter to the Commonwealth's next big nightspot.

HAWWWWWWK takes a open-air prefab approach to Vault construction. I really hope that bathroom door closes…

NullBarell42 integrates some Contraptions to fit their Vault cafeteria with an automatic food processor. The special today is "edible byproduct"!

Last up is Rakkasan240B's ambitious attempt to recreate Vault 13, the Vault Dweller's home from the original Fallout. Hopefully this version's stocked with extra water chips - finding a replacement turned out to be a real hassle last time.
