Enter the Dominatrix coming as Saints Row IV DLC

Saints Row: The Third's Enter the Dominatrix expansion will whip Saints Row IV into shape about 45 days after release. The expansion's strange story--it was conceived as a standalone game planned for release at $30, then its virtual-world-with-superpowers approach was folded into Saints Row IV--will be addressed, Game Informer reports.

Volition didn't say what the content's focus will be at this point, and we're pretty curious about where it will draw the line between the new and the old. Apparently the DLC itself will provide some "behind the scenes" commentary about its development, so perhaps we'll find out from the Saints themselves.

Saint's Row IV will hit PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on August 20 in North America and August 23 in Europe.
