Call of Duty remasters could happen if Activision finds the time

Remember that massively successful petition for a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remaster remaster? Bringing back old Call of Duty games is something its creators "talk about and think about a lot," according to Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg.

Hirshberg told Game Informer that remasters "can be great" if done well, and that many people naturally want to see their favorite old moments spruced up for new hardware. So why aren't we already riding super-high-res snowmobiles through the Tian Shan mountains?
