BloodRayne: Betrayal – the 2D comeback for the heroine of Uwe Boll’s Nazi-killing masterpiece, Playboy’s first virtual centerfold, and a couple of pretty average videogames a few years back – has had its Xbox Live release date pushed forward to September 7. Those of you keeping a worryingly-obsessive eye out for developments on the BloodRayne: Betrayal front will notice that that’s just one day after the 9/6 release of the PSN version…
This is bad news for Sony, who’d been touting the title’s one-month window of PSN exclusivity as a triumph to rival Microsoft’s celebrated Summer of Arcade. We may never know what behind-the-scenes skullduggery caused Majesco to reconsider and reduce Sony’s window of exclusivity to a paltry 24 hours; however, fans of both platforms are sure to welcome the news as a means of bringing all players together under a shared appreciation of elegantly-animated side-on demon-hunting. That’s how this fanboy thing works, right?
