Battlefield Hardline: Robbery

Battlefield Hardline: Robbery

The criminals of Battlefield Hardline aren't giving up on their not-so-noble quest for epic loot, a point made abundantly clear with the game's second expansion DLC, dubbed "Robbery." Featuring four new maps (The Docks, Break Pointe, Museum and Precinct 7), a new 5v5 game mode (Squad Heist), four new weapons, two new gadgets, two new factional vehicles and new vehicle upgrades, new camo skins and vehicle paints, there's a lot to take in - or take with you in a duffle bag.

The new Squad Heist mode is themed after Squad Rush from Battlefield 4. In it, criminals must use a drill to break into two vaults before finally escaping via helicopter that must be called in from a secure location. Drills and vaults aren't necessarily literal drills and vaults, mind you. In an announcement blog, DICE gave an example of a glass cutter as the proverbial drill and a display case as the vault. In this way, each heist can be tailored to the map.

Well, it makes more sense than breaking into a vault to steal a museum's money, anyway. That would just be mean. Robbery will be available this September.

Battlefield Hardline: Criminal Activity

Battlefield Hardline: Criminal Activity

The Criminal Activity DLC will include four new maps (Backwoods, Code Blue, The Beat and Black Friday), a new game mode (Bounty Hunter), four weapons, two new ammunition types, a new gadget, two vehicles and six all new masks (including a hella creepy bunny if that's what you're into). Criminal Activity will be released in summer and is the first of four expansions coming to Hardline.

In the team-based Bounty Hunter, killed players drop a coin colored to match their team. These coins must then be collected by the enemy in order to score - or alternatively, collected by teammates to deny the opposing faction points. It's sort of a way to confirm your kill, you could say. First team to the coin limit wins.

Battlefield Hardline: Getaway - This is frantic, high-speed chases that immerse players deeper in the heist. Available fall 2015.
