Transformers sequel comic hits

Back in the day, many a young un’s imagination was fired up by the Transformers comics that were pumped out in the support of the cartoon series. And while they weren’t always the greatest examples of the art form ever produced, they did provide handy extra adventures for the robots in disguise.

That proud tradition is now being continued with Transformers: The Reign Of Starscream. It’s from the writers who penned the prequel comic and it’ll track what happened to our heroes (and villains) after the end of the first movie. But the sequel won’t be forgotten either: “We also introduce new characters. In doing so, we bridge the gap between the last movie and the next movie, coming in '09,” co-writer Chris Ryall told IESB.net .
