The Wolverine has released a trio of new posters online, featuring three of the characters Logan meets during his jaunt to Japan: Shingen, Mariko and Harada.
If you’re not familiar with the comic-books, Lord Shingen is a venerable old crime boss who owes Logan his life, while Mariko is the beautiful young daughter with whom Wolverine falls in love.
Harada on the other hand is probably best known as the Silver Samurai, the hulking, sword-swinging mutant glimpsed at the end of the recent trailer .
All three of the new posters look very stylish indeed, particularly with their lack of titles and character names. Very much a case of less is more…
Directed by James Mangold and co-starring Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee and Tao Okamoto, The Wolverine will open in the UK on 26 July 2013.
