The Place Beyond The Pines re-teams Ryan Gosling and his Blue Valentine director, Derek Cianfrance - which instantly makes it one of our most eagerly anticipated films of 2013.
The epic crime drama has debuted a new theatrical poster on IMDb , and the grubby one-sheet shows off the faces of its key stars.
Ryan Gosling’s troubled motorcycle stunt rider Luke sits in the centre, and he’s flanked by Eva Mendes (who plays his put-upon partner) and Bradley Cooper (as the cop who doggedly pursues him).
The bottom half of the the poster features a moody shot of the bike ace lingering outside a bank, hinting at the events that'll send him on a downward spiral. Luke turns to armed robbery in an attempt to provide for the son he didn’t realise he had, and Cooper’s copper’s not going to let him get away with it.
Despite the stunt-riding bank-robber sell, expect generational angst to hang heavily over this one.
