After his slightly dicey green card joke at the Oscars, Sean Penn is back on safer ground with a new trailer for The Gunman, the latest action spectacular from Taken director Olivier Megaton.
If the basic set-up sounds a little hackneyed, the presence of a truly A-list cast including Idris Elba, Javier Bardem and Ray Winstone has us hoping there might be more to this one than first meets the eye…
Directed by Megaton and co-starring Mark Rylance and Jasmine Trinca, The Gunman will open in the UK and US on 20 March 2015.
