When Sony recently announced its PS3 launch plans for Europe we admit that we were dubious when it promised that over 30 games would be available for the system in what it carefully called the 'launch period'. What was Sony's definition of 'launch period' - a day, a week, a year...?
It turns out that we had no need to fret - Sony's head of UK PR, David Wilson, has confirmed to GamesRadar that 'launch period' does indeed mean day one: "It is our aspiration that all of the 30 titles mentioned in our announcement will be available at launch of PlayStation 3 on March 23rd."
So, anyone picking up a PS3 on launch day will havethis bumper selection of gamesto choose from. Shame on us for being sceptical.
