Hold items are absolutely essential for Pokemon battles. Pretty much every Pokemon trainer out there knows the value of pairing the right hold item with the right Pokemon. What many players don't know is that hold items are equally valuable for obtaining hard-to-catch Pokemon and completing your Pokedex. In this week's issue of Pokemusings, we're going to take a look at some of the Pokemon you can generate using the Daycare Center in Solaceon City in conjunction with specific hold items.
For simplicity's sake, we're going to use the immensely useful Ditto as one of our mating partners. Ditto, whose sole purpose in life seems to be to get jiggy with other Pokemon, can breed with Pokemon of either gender, which makes the whole affair easier.
During your Pokemon adventure, you've probably come across various types of incense. They can be used for breeding purposes and can make completing your Pokedex a whole lot easier. For example, Munchlax is a bit of a pain to obtain, but if you already have a Snorlax and Full Incense then you can have a Munchlax in a matter of minutes. All you have to do is leave a Snorlax that's holding Full Incense in the Daycare Center along with a Ditto and you'll have a Munchlax egg in a snap!
