4th of July sales are in full swing but it's not all lawn furniture and BBQs. There's a surprising amount for PS5, Switch, Xbox, and PC gamers in this year's lineup with some offers even doing better than last week's Prime Day discounts. Whether you're stocking up on physical PS5 games, upgrading your Xbox Series X controller, or investing in a whole new system altogether, 4th of July sales from Best Buy, Amazon, Woot, and more have some gems on the shelves right now.
This isn't just a list of any little discount, though. I've stuck to the games and gadgets we actually recommend here at GamesRadar+ every day. That means you'll find the tech that's actually worth your time here, sifting through all the tat that clogs these virtual aisles.

Who has the best 4th of July sales?
For gamers specifically, Best Buy looks like the destination to beat right now, with the widest breadth of Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox, and PC deals this 4th of July weekend. The store is running its offers until Sunday, and is offering quite a few Prime Day-beating discounts in its roster as well.
That said, Amazon is also price matching plenty of Best Buy's gaming hardware discounts. Those Corsair Galleon 100 SD keyboard and Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro mouse discounts are first of their kind, and are being run simultaneously on both sites.
Bezos can't always catch up, though. From what I'm seeing this weekend, Best Buy has a wider variety of PS5 and Nintendo Switch games on its discount shelves. There's still some gold at Amazon, but simply more choice over at Best Buy right now.
That game arena is usually where Woot claims its title. The Amazon-owned store is far more liberal with its savings, particularly when it comes to stubborn Switch prices. It's where I go to find some of the earliest deals on newer Nintendo releases, and the heavier discounts among PlayStation's library.
This year's 4th of July sales are offering up some interesting prospects, but Woot as a whole feels a little less impressive than usual. In fact, if you're happy going down the pre-owned route I'd actually recommend GameStop's buy-two-get-one-free offer instead.
