Design-wise,Pidove and its evolutions seem superfluous given that we already have a pigeon-inspired Pokemon inPidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot, but at least it does have one interesting thing going for its design, which is the obvious sexual dimorphism of its final evolution, Unfezant. Pokemon collectors will have to catch both male and female variants for their perfect collections, which always messes up the PC box a little if you organize by ‘dex number.
