Rocksteady, developers of the Batman: Arkham games (save for Arkham Origins and any of the mobile spin-offs), is ready to part ways with the caped crusader now that its work on Batman: Arkham VR is complete. For real this time.
"We're in a very enviable position," studio producer Dax Ginn recently told Eurogamer. "We can sit back and think what our dream game would be, and we have Warner Bros.' support to do that. I think we've proven that we're a hardworking team, we work well together, and we can really decide what's best creatively for our own destiny."
Still, Ginn said that there's mixed emotions at the studio. "It feels like… breaking up?" he mused. And while I think many of us are sad to see such a great couple go their separate ways, I for one am looking forward to meeting whatever sexy man or woman this studio hooks up with next.
