Warm Bodies has released a new trailer, in which Nicholas’ Hoult’s zombie, R, finds himself reconnecting with his human side when he falls in love with the lovely Julie (Teresa Palmer).
It’s actually a bit more complicated than that, as J’s feelings stem primarily from the fact that he’s eaten Julie’s boyfriend’s brains. Still it’s a course of action that has him turning over a leaf, and trying to become a better person.
However, Julie’s dad (John Malkovich) isn’t keen on his daughter hanging out with a member of the undead, and tries to drive a wedge between the pair… primarily with his shotgun.
Take a look, below:
A shorter, sharper trailer than the one that was previously released, this one looks like a witty, action-packed take on the off-beat zombie movie, and a worthy successor to the likes of Shaun Of The Dead and Zombieland .
Directed by Jonathan Levine and co-starring Rob Corddry, Analeigh Tipton and Dave Franco, Warm Bodies opens in the UK on 8 February 2013.
