EA dropped us a line this morning to confirm therecent speculationthat they are currently working on a new Need for Speed title to be revealed at E3.
As most of us had already guessed, it's Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and it will be coming from the industry's most legendary arcade racing developer, Criterion. You may remember Criterion from their previous efforts in the genre: Burnout 3, Burnout Paradise, and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. Also known as the #1, #2, and #3 best arcade racers ever made.
Beyond these tiny details, we currently know nothing, but we're borderline positive that EA will be giving us all more information on the new title at their press conference on Monday, June 4 at 1pm PST.
The image you see above it the only screenshot EA has released for the new title, though we'll doubtlessly see dozens more soon enough.
