Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection officially out on August 31
Original trilogy set for release on XBLA, PSN and PC
Earlier this year, WB Interactive said it would release a collection of the original Mortal Kombat trilogy in “late summer.” True to its word, the company has announced said game will in fact come out in “late summer” – August 31 to be precise. It’ll hit both XBLA, PC and PSN simultaneously and cost ya 800 MS points / $10 for all three arcade classics.

Oddly enough, this marks the first time all three games have been included in one package. Midway released similar compilations in the early ‘00s, but spread MK across two or three discs to ensure fans bought as many games as possible. Now we get all three for $10? That’s an appealing deal, for sure.
