Danny Boyle’s latest stab at sci-fi sees him reuniting the 28 Days Later team of producer Andrew McDonald and writer Alex Garland for a tale of a space mission with a two-pronged objective: to re-ignite the sun and to discover what happened to the mission that preceded the current vessel.
Naturally, things don’t go according to plan (or it would be a very boring film), with the crew, which includes the likes of Fantastic Four’s Chris Evans, Batman Begins’ Cillian Murphy and Troy’s Rose Byrne uncovering some very strange things surrounding the previous mission – and realising that their lives are very much in danger.
