PlayStation 3 enthusiasts got their first taste of House of the Dead last year when the swear-tastic House of the Dead: Overkill was ported from Wii to PS3. Apparently that was just the start, as Sony’s system and its wonder wand Move are getting another taste of rotting zombie flesh. Sega has announced that light gun classics House of the Dead 3 and 4 are coming to PSN, with HotD3 hitting the service February 7.
HotD3 was an arcade favorite that was ported to Xbox and later the Wii, so this marks its first appearance on a Sony system. Meanwhile, House of the Dead 4 has never been on consoles before, making its release a real treat for fans on Sega’s polygonal undead. After 3 hits PSN 2/7, 4 is currently only planned for “spring 2012.” No price has named for the HD-ified, Trophy supported adventure, since the first one is out in a month, we should know soon.
