Gloob.tv launches

GamesRadar is proud to announce the launch of sister siteGloob.tv, the end-all-be-all of Internet video sites. So what's the big deal? Well, YouTube's great and all, but you can end up wasting a lot of time sorting through amazingly (or not so amazingly) crapalicious "Give me that two minutes of my life back" detritus passed off as "user-generated entertainment." Usually to get an idea if something is worth watching, you have to hold your nose and dip into the user comments, which inevitably shake your faith in human civilization to its core with all the hate spewing from smoking keyboards.

Friends, face that daunting task no more! Gloob.tv does all the work for you, throwing out the trash and finding the best videos from YouTube, StupidVideos, TMZ.com, and anywhere else their video bloodhounds can sniff them out. The latest and weirdest are laid out in a pleasing list that's easy to peruse, and eachvideo has official commentary in a couple of concise paragraphs. This way you can get a quick idea if the clip is something you'll be chuckling about or shaking your head at. Of course, you can also write your own comments as well, and post video responses.

The site's official angle says it all: "Result: Instant Garbage-Free Video Community."

Here's a few of our favorites from today, both funny and simply weird:

Bai Ling Hi-jacks the Dancefloor

Chocolate Reign

It’s Feline a Little Cramped in Here

The Crotch Shot Machine Game Show

The School of Pick-Up Artists

Once you get an idea of how it works, why not put forth some gaming-related videos?

My new approach to play all games on Hard mode straight off the bat has proven satisfying. Sure there is some frustration, but I've decided it's the lesser of two evils when weighed against the boredom of easiness that Normal difficulty has become in the era of casual gaming.
