The Arc Raiders Dolabra is a legendary weapon added as part of the Flashpoint update, a special kind of laser shotgun that's very likely to end up as one of the game's most powerful weapons, at least until it gets nerfed in future updates. Having obtained the Blueprints and crafted the Dolabra myself, I'll explain how you can get it, and whether it's worth the effort to get this powerful shotgun in the wake of the Arc Raiders Flashpoint update.
How to get the Dolabra shotgun in Arc Raiders
The Dolabra shotgun in Arc Raiders cannot be found in-game as far as anybody knows at time of writing, it has to be crafted. Doing so requires you to find the Blueprints for this weapon, then find the various components needed to craft it.
Keep in mind that you'll also need a Gunsmith level 3 table to craft this weapon, even beyond the Blueprints and pieces. If your workshop isn't up to the challenge, I'd definitely work on that before anything else.

The Dolabra blueprint can only be obtained as a random drop inside the Arc Raiders Close Scrutiny Assessors, the landing platforms that appear in these randomly occurring map modifiers. Our guide will go into more detail, but every time you breach an Assessor and search it, you have a chance to find the blueprint for the Dolabra. It's not a guarantee though, and you may need several attempts before you get lucky.
Once you have the Arc Raiders blueprint, put it in your safe pocket immediately! Assessors are incredibly dangerous places to be, and you may get killed trying to escape.
How to craft the Dolabra
To craft a Dolabra, you need the following components:
Crafting Component | How to get it |
|---|---|
Shredder Gyro (x3) | Found on Shredders (most commonly in Stella Montis) |
Magnetic Accelerator (x3) | Can be crafted in Refiner Level 3. Also has a chance to be dropped by Matriarchs and Queens. |
Vaporizer Regulator (x2) | Found on Vaporizers (often in Close Scrutiny map modifiers) |
The Dolabra also uses Energy Clip ammo, which you can craft with Advanced Arc Powercells and Batteries, or buy from Tian Wen for 3,000 Coins per clip – energy ammo is expensive!

Is the Dolabra good?
Yes, the Dolabra is very good, to the point where we expect it to get nerfed pretty soon, and it easily earns a place high up on the best weapons in Arc Raiders. For a start, Shredders and Vaporizers aren't easy to kill, but it's certainly easier to get their components than with Queens or Matriarchs, putting the Dolabra in a more "budget legendary" category than the other legendary weapons.
On top of which, it's just extremely powerful in close-to-medium range, capable of killing most players in a couple of shots. As you look down the sights, it narrows the beam that the Dolabra fires, so you can fire either a medium-length shot or a wide, short-range blast. Either way it does huge damage, and has Strong Armor penetration, making it great against both players and robots. The only downside is that you can't upgrade or add mods to it, but then again, you hardly need to.
