Ride the rails and try not to freeze to death in this nail-biting new trailer for survival sci-fi train-driving sim, EverRail
It's time to train
Survival game EverRail just got a new trailer showcasing its tense and frosty gameplay, and its pure Snowpiercer fantasy for those who are wanted to see how they'd handle the challenge. Not only that, but we have officially received a release date for its early access launch: April 23, 2026.
EverRail is a game about piloting a train through a frozen apocalypse, and the new trailer shown off as part of FGS Live From GDC takes us through the perils and potential of being Sir Topham Hatt in the end of the world.

EverRail's gimmick is that he train must keep moving at all times, sweeping through the tundra, but a rolling fortress full of people needs energy, supplies and resources of all sorts, necessitating tough choices and regular stops where you and up to three other players go exploring through abandoned outposts and bunkers for more materials.
Problem is, they're clearly not as abandoned all that, and the harsh gunfights with the inhabitants mean that your expeditions for resources can take more than they give. Deciding whether to leave the safety of the train to ensure its can keep going is a calculated risk, with players using scouting gliders, crafted gear and pure grit to scavenge what they can.
As mentioned, EverRail will be out on Steam early access on April 23, 2026, with no date as of yet for the full 1.0 release. For more info, you can follow the developers on Bluesky or X (formerly Twitter).
