Ready or Not shows off gameplay for the SWAT FPS' new DLC Boiling Point, teasing a tense stand-off with a mysterious group

Void Interactive has shown off some gameplay from SWAT team FPS Ready or Not's upcoming Boiling Point DLC, teasing just the sort of tense stand-offs the series is known for.
As part of the Future Games Show's Spring Showcase Powered by HyperX, we get a trailer that kicks off with an eerie conversation between the police and a rugged voice saying, "Tell me, officer, have you ever seen a city topple like a house of cards? It's beautiful."

That just about sets the town for the trailer's minute-and-a-half run time, as we see the pier of a city in the grips of a mysterious terror group, who eventually come into conflict with a SWAT team. There are firefights, tense music, and our gloating narrator providing commentary as he continues speaking to the police over the phone.
It all ends when he says "see you soon," which I'd say is your queue to get in there and sort 'em out, as these games typically go. How soon? Very, it seems, as the trailer ends with a message that reads, "Ready or Not: Boiling Point is out now."
If you decide to buy into the DLC, you'll get three new missions to play titled 'No Good Deed,' 'All Gods Burn,' and 'A New America.' Of course, if you're in a multiplayer lobby and someone else has the DLC, you can still take part without splashing the cash.
Ready or Not: Boiling Point is out now, across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

I joined GamesRadar+ in May 2022 following stints at PCGamesN and PocketGamer.Biz, with some freelance for Kotaku UK, RockPaperShotgun, and VG24/7 thrown in for good measure. When I'm not running the news team on the games side, you'll find me putting News Editor duties to one side to play the hottest JRPG of 20 years ago or pillaging the depths of Final Fantasy 14 for a swanky new cloak – the more colourful, the better.
