It's about to be the summer of Frank Castle, and the first teaser for his Disney Plus special The Punisher: One Last Kill is kicking off his rampage across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The thing is, the teaser's only a few seconds long - but it's got just enough Punisher action to get fans excited for his MCU special.
Check it out at the tail end of this trailer for the next episode of Daredevil: Born Again, starting around the 1:40 mark:
Jon Bernthal is returning as the violent vigilante not just in The Punisher: One Last Kill. He's also set to return in July's Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with One Last Kill bridging the gap between Frank's last appearance in Daredevil: Born Again season 1 and his role in Brand New Day.
Article continues belowSo far, we don't know a whole lot about what to expect from The Punisher: One Last Kill. But we know that Frank Castle will find himself developing a particularly interesting relationship with Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with Spidey actor Tom Holland saying "I am so excited for people to see Jon Bernthal as the Punisher in this movie. He's come from a very different world, you know, the R-rated kind of universe, and we've basically picked him up and plonked him into our world. And he absolutely sings in this movie. He is incredible."
The Punisher: One Last Kill premieres on Disney Plus on May 12, 2026, just after the conclusion of the currently ongoing Daredevil: Born Again season 2. After that, Punisher returns in July 31's Spider-Man: Brand New Day. For more, stay up to date on all the upcoming Marvel movies and shows that are currently in the works.
