Don't go anywhere. There are two Super Mario Galaxy Movie post-credits scenes. The first arrives right after the animated credits sequence. The second requires a longer wait for all the cast and crew credits to roll on by. Then a second, briefer scene plays before you're free to leave the cinema.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie post-credits scenes explained: Daisy, Star Fox, and more
The first Super Mario Galaxy Movie post-credits scene not only updates us on the fates of Bowser (Jack Black) and Bowser Jr. (Benny Safdie), it also seemingly sets up a Star Fox spin-off.
As Fox McCloud (Glen Powell) and a blue Toad walk out of the facility in which the Bowser father-son duo are being held, Fox reveals that his warp drive has been fixed and he will be able to return to his crew – Peppy, Slippy, and Falco – in his original universe. With that, Fox flies off.
Back in the jail, Bowser and Bowser Jr. remain hopeful of escaping soon – but those plans are foiled by the Lumalee from the first movie playing the role of prison officer, ensuring their screams of pain will echo through the Mushroom Kingdom for a very, very long time.

While it's good to check back in with the Bowsers (the finale skipped over Dry Bowser's bone search after all), the headline news here is that Nintendo and Illumination are not exactly being subtle about prepping the runway for a Star Fox movie.
The second Super Mario Galaxy Movie post-credits scene returns us to Gateway Galaxy and the sticky fingers of the simian Ukiki. After stealing from a traveler, he is soon stopped in his tracks by a surprise new face: Daisy.
Daisy, the third Princess in the Mario movie franchise, first appeared in Game Boy title Super Mario Land back in 1989. She has since gone on to become a staple of Mario spin-offs and sports titles – though it remains to be seen whether, in movie lore, she is related to Peach and Rosalina.
Come what may, the pattern of introducing a character in the post-credits scene – in the first movie's case, Yoshi – means they're set to play a major part in the next movie. So, The Super Mario Bros. Movie 3 should be Daisy-centric, but we don't know who is playing her yet.
Any potential Fox return, meanwhile, should involve his own separate project. No word on any sort of Super Smash Bros. movie setup yet, however.
