It’s safe to say we’re already pretty excited about Captain America: Civil War, what with its promise of warring-Avengers, and a whole host of new allies and antagonists. However, Elizabeth Olsen is doing her best to whip up anticipation still further, singling out Daniel Brühl as an “incredible” addition to the MCU.
“I think it’s going to be the best one,” said Olsen in an interview with Premiere. “For real, I am very excited to see it for myself. I only worked on set for five weeks, so I wasn’t there for the majority of it, but Daniel Brühl is an incredible actor and he’s playing the main villain in it.”
“He’s incredible,” she continues. “It’s a movie about people as opposed to robots this time, so it’s darker and it’s allowed to be darker because it gets more in the mindset of humans rather than machines.” Indeed, with all the excitement surrounding the Stark / Rogers schism, Brühl’s Baron Zemo has kind of slipped under the radar, but we’re excited to see what he’s got in store when Civil War opens in the UK on April 29 2016 and the US on May 6 2016.
