Destiny's Halloween event is coming back for its third year and Guardians around the world are getting ready to exchange mass quantities of blood-candy for garish headgear. Bungie's put out a new trailer for The Festival of the Lost and sent along some new details: all three social spaces will be decked out with Halloween-y flare, there are multiple new quest lines to complete, and you can even find a special Ghost shell that makes your floating buddy look like a specter from a fourth-grade stage production of A Christmas Carol.
This year's Festival of the Lost will begin on October 25 and end on November 8. Here's the freaky-deaky stuff I'm most excited for.
Starting a howl
Being a spooky bastard
Hanging out with Eva Levante, Official Space Grandma
Collecting weird new masks
Starting another howl
Making Bad Juju look Bad Ass
Tooling around on an Ecto-Cooler-green Sparrow

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and was formerly a staff writer at GamesRadar+.
