Destiny: Xur weapons, gear, and location, March 3 - 5. The 4th Horseman!

He's back. Once again, for three days only, the Harry Potter-loving merchant Xur has managed to tear himself away from his sixth reread of The Half Blood Prince to bring us the latest Exotic Destiny treats. This week you'll find him hiding in front of that giant door near the Speaker in the Tower, telling everyone that'll listen that he'd do a roaring trade in Peruvian Darkness powder if only he could get into Diagon Alley. But anyway... what has Xur got and will you want to spend your precious Strange Coins? Well...

Here's the line up.

• An Insurmountable Skullfort (Exotic Titan Helmet – 13 Strange Coins
• ATS/8 Tarantella (Exotic Hunter Chest Armour) – 13 Strange Coins
• Voidfang Vestments (Exotic Warlock Chest Armour) – 13 Strange Coins
• The 4th Horseman (Exotic Shotgun) – 17 Strange Coins
• Legacy Engram (Helmet engram) – 29 Strange Coins
• Exotic Shard - 7 Strange Coins
• Three of Coins – 7 Strange Coins

So the 4th Horseman, eh? Do you want it? The short answer is yes. The longer answer is hell yes. If you don't already have this five round shotgun, complete with auto fire, what on Earth have you been doing in Destiny so far? Sure it's not exactly subtle but it's instadeath for anyone who gets in your way so a hell of a lot of fun for Crucible times. Buy it.

Guns aside, we're looking at a mixed bag of Guardian goodies. The Insurmountable Skullfort is great if you're a Titan that likes to punch things. Kills with Storm Fist will give you bonus health and you'll spawn ready to attack people with your bare hands with a full melee charge. You'll even get more melee energy when you pick up orbs so if you play Destiny like The Hulk then you want this rather stylish headgear. When it comes to the ATS/8 Tarantella Hunter Chest armour, we get to the mixed part of the bag. This is great if you're a Bladedancer as it'll recharge your abilities faster but that's about it so Nightstalkers and Gunslingers can save their coins.

And finally there's the Voidfang Vestments for Warlocks which, as well as being satisfying to say, are pretty great if you're using Axion Bolt grenades. They add an extra seeker shot to the Axion Bolt and also make sure you spawn with an insta-grenade making you perfectly deadly from the get go when the inevitable happens in the Crucible.

As usual, Xur will be gone by Sunday 10am UK/ 2am PT to get onto the Deathly Hallows and cry so get shopping.
