Croteam, best known as the developer behind the Serious Sam titles, has partnered with Austin-based publisher Gamecock Media Group for the release oftheir current project. At this point, very little is known about the game, and considering that it's not set to arrive until 2009, it will probably stay that way for a while.
We do know, however, that the project is running on the Serious Engine 3, which is "a ground-up reworking of Croteam's proprietary game creation system." We could explain this game engine a little bit more with talk of things like "shadowbuffers" and "multi-threaded physics,"butwouldn't you much ratherlook at the pretty screenshot below?
The game is planned for release on PC and "specific next-gen consoles," which more than likely means they need a bit more time to decide if they want to do a Wii version.
