A new green-band trailer has dropped for seasonal comedy The Night Before, in which childhood buddies Seth Rogen, Anthony Mackie, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt reconvene for a sacred tradition… the Christmas Eve blowout. Only this time around, they are determined to discover the holy grail of festive fun: the legendary Nutcracka Ball.
The new trailer ditches the swears, but still gives a pretty good idea of just what kind of mayhem we can expect, with Seth Rogen being sick in the aisle of a packed church after a heady cocktail of cocaine and mushrooms. The spirit of Christmas, right there. Check out the new trailer, below…
Rogen and Gordon-Levitt worked with director Jonathan Levine on the touching 50/50, and while this new film doesn’t seem to be aiming for the same emotional gut-punch, it looks warm-hearted enough... with a healthy side-order of drug-based debauchery, obviously. Co-starring Lizzy Caplan, Mindy Kaling and Jillian Bell, The Night Before will open in the US on November 25, 2015 and the UK on 11 December, 2015.
