The cast and crew of the upcoming Ash Vs. Evil Dead TV series hit up the Television Critics Association press tour this week, and in his typically wry fashion Bruce Campbell teased fans about future movies. “This series will force us to make more movies," he told reporters. "That’s only 10 hours of programming; we need eight more movies. Making a fourth movie would work. No matter what we give them [the fans], it will never be enough.”
Sam Raimi, who helmed the original Evil Dead movie and serves as an executive producer and scribe on Ash Vs. Evil Dead, piped up to confirm that he'd happily step behind the camera if Campbell was game. Of course, this isn't the first time the pair has taunted fans with promises of another big screen feature.
A fourth Evil Dead outing was rumored after the release of Fede Alvarez's Evil Dead reboot in 2013. At the time Campbell talked of a crossover between Alvarez's final girl, Mia, and his loveable fool, Ash.
The ten-episode season of Ash Vs. Evil Dead premieres on Starz October 30.
