•Broken Sword: Angel of Death(MOV, 7.69MB)
Wednesday 24 May 2006
The big news for fans of adventure games is that Broken Sword is on its way back this year and we've managed to locate a trailer of the new game, Broken Sword: Angel of Death, which is due for release this September for PC.
Angel of Death sees the return of hero George Stobbart who gets entangled in a conspiracy to destroy the world when investigating the disappearance of the woman he loves.
In the trailer we can get a glimpse of the types of puzzles and challenges that he will face, which seems familiar to action seen in the recent Da Vinci Code game. It'll be interesting to see if the success of that game has a knock on effect for the release of the new Broken Sword, perhaps bringing the adventure game back into vogue.
Sales of The Da Vinci Code will have to pick up a bit, though; in its first week of release it's only reached number 12 in the UK charts.
