Black Ops 3 beta hits PS4 first, then Xbox One and PC a week later
Just because PS4 players get early access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta doesn't mean they'll actually get more time with it. Activision has finally locked down the exact dates for the upcoming multiplayer test, which will be open to everybody who pre-ordered the game on PC or current-gen consoles.
As previously announced, the beta will begin on PS4 on August 19. It's set to run from Wednesday through Sunday, August 23, after which Xbox One and PC players will get to try it out from August 26 through August 30. Treyarch will say more about what maps and modes will be playable in the beta in the weeks ahead. Until then, don't forget to redeem your beta code if you haven't already done so.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
