The Wolf Among Us, an episodic adventure game from Telltale Games based on the Fables comic series, has a lot to live up to. It's the studio's first new series since it grabbed dozens of Game of the Year awards with The Walking Dead (including ours).
This trailer for its premiere episode, Faith, shows how it will get back in stylized decision-making action.
Telltale may be pigeonholing itself in a sketchy comic style here, but its lurid environments and semi-supernatural characters show The Wolf Among Us is a different beast from The Walking Dead's drab apocalypse. Whether deciding the fate of fairy tale characters living in New York City is as compelling as guiding a shrinking band of zombie survivors remains to be seen.
The Wolf Among Us is still slated to arrive some time before the end of the summer on PC/Mac, PS3, and Xbox 360.
