The Mummy trailer unleashes a whole new world of horror

We got our first look at The Mummy (opens in new tab) earlier this week, but let's be honest, it was 15 seconds long... I want more! Enter: a full length trailer for the remake.

This footage gives us much more information about the story of the new Mummy movie, including the fact that it appears Tom Cruise's character Nick Morton dies and is then brought back to life by the Mummy's curse. And speaking of the Mummy, Sofia Boutella's monster is well on her way to making this the scary monster movie Universal promised us.

For a full trailer breakdown with director Alex Kurtzman himself, check out The Mummy trailer breakdown: Director Alex Kurtzman answers our questions (opens in new tab). Want to know how they filmed that impressive plane crash scene? Read about it in The Mummy trailer's plane sequence is far more real than you think (opens in new tab)

Directed by Alex Kurtzman and starring Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Russell Crowe, and Annabelle Wallis, The Mummy hits US and UK cinemas on June 9, 2017.
