SSX Developer Demo: Deadly Descents

Deadly descents are the tough new feature of SSX, and as we learned yesterday, "deadly" is the word. In this mode, which functions as a "level boss" of sorts, you'll have to bring your athlete through the cruelest elements of each stage's terrain. In the case of this demo, presented by producer Connor Dugan, you'll have to make your way through a tangled network of downed trees at the end of the Rockies, the first range you'll have to claim for Team SSX.

In this mode, your athlete is protected by a thin layer of armor, and with every collision, you'll lose a bit of it until it's your health bar that suffers. After that...
