Rufus Sewell to present Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter at Kapow! Comic Convention

Kapow! Comic Convention has added another name to the roster, with Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter star Rufus Sewell now confirmed.

He’ll be at Kapow! on Saturday 19 May to present exclusive footage from the historical vampire actioner (a fairly exclusive subgenre), which is out in the UK in August.

Adapted from the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, AL:VH is directed by Timur Bekmambetov ( Night Watch , Wanted ) and produced by Tim Burton. As you’ve probably gathered from the self-explanatory title, the 16th president of the United States is reimagined as a vamp-slaying badass.

Sewell plays the villain of the piece, and he has a diverse CV to his name, having appeared in Dark City , The Illusionist and The Tourist .

Other names scheduled to appear at Kapow! include Nick Frost, The Raid director Gareth Evans, Noel Clarke, Peter Serafinowicz, Jonathan Ross, Russell Tovey and more.
