LA art gallery showcases Alice: Madness Returns artwork

E3 visitors' time in LA doesn't have to be all bright lights, loud noises and press-conferences with more stagecraft than a KISS show. You might also take a stroll over to Melrose and check out the current exhibit at Gallery 1988. The quiet, evenly-lit gallery atmosphere couldn't be further from the Convention Center's hectic pace – or, actually, it could, if they weren't displaying a huge batch of artwork created for and based on a new videogame. $4000 could even buy you the most lucrative bit of swag Alice: Madness Returns ever did inspire:

Gallery 1988 is at 7020 Melrose Ave – you know, Angelinos, right next to the comic store? – but if you can't make it to the show, which continues until June 12,click throughto 1988's site to peruse the full 23 artworks. What do you think of them? Got any favorites?
