Hackers target Konami, Bohemia Interactive websites

Konami and Bohemia Interactive have become the latest gaming companies to be targeted by hackers. Just one week after Nintendo confirmed that hackers had managed to break into the Club Nintendo website on more than 23,000 occasions in the previous month, Konami and Bohemia said they’d detected unauthorised website logins that resulted in customer data being compromised.

Meanwhile, Arma studio Bohemia said it was resetting customer passwords after discovering that hackers had withdrawn personal information from its user database. “We have unfortunately discovered that an illegal attempt has been made to access certain of our online websites, leading to the download of a database containing usernames, email addresses and encrypted passwords." Bohemia stressed that credit card details stored on its servers weren’t compromised.
