Doctor Who Competition Winner Finally Gets His Prize

You might vaguely remember – or probably not, seeing as we’d all but forgotten – back in 2010 we ran a competition to describe the Eleventh Doctor in the style of Terrance Dicks (still no Sir preceding his name unfortunately), and as a prize the BBC would feature the description in one of their books.

Winner Ian Hewett kindly informed us this morning, seeing as BBC Books forgot to, that it had been featured in Plague Of The Cyberman, which came out in the beginning of April.

There’s no mention of his contribution in the novel, but we’re pleased for him that it’s finally been published.

Here’s a pic of his description – we still think it’s rather good – and the cover of the book, so you know what to look for next time you wander into WH Smith.
