Daniel Radcliffe is "leaving room" for a Harry Potter comeback

Daniel Radcliffe has done a great job of picking different types of roles in recent years, but he may never again get the opportunity to play someone as iconic as Harry Potter. Radcliffe reprised the role for what we all felt was the final time in 2011's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, but in a new interview the actor revealed that he hasn't necessarily ruled out a comeback just yet.  

"It would depend on the script", Radcliffe told Radio Times. "The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there! So I am saying, ‘No,’ for now but leaving room to backtrack in the future".

The prospect of seeing Harry back on cinema screens is pretty appealing, not least of which because Radcliffe is a much better actor now than he was back then (seriously, those earlier Harry Potter films are...not good). Between Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and the upcoming theatre production, there is clearly still an appetite for J.K. Rowling's wizarding world. Never say never...
