Aug 19, 2007 The unnecessarily long-named Super Puzzle Fighter II HD Remix was already on the cards for XBLA this week, but Microsoft has surprised us with Streets of Rage 2, which is also available for download from this morning. Aren't we lucky, eh? Surprise! Streets of Rage 2 now available on XBLA (News)

With Super Puzzle Fighter II HD Remix coming out on XBLA this week, it was easy to forget that there were two games being released this week. In fact, no one really knew what the second one would be -- until now. Also being released today is Streets of Rage 2. Available for 400 points in all regions, Streets of Rage 2 features Live and local multiplayer, and an HD graphics filter.

Sega Announces Vintage Game Collection For Xbox Live Arcade (News)

SEGA® of America, Inc. and SEGA® Europe, Ltd. today announced the SEGA Vintage Collection, a new product line that includes enhanced versions of five SEGA classics which will be available for download on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. SEGA Vintage Collection kicks off today with the launch of Sonic The Hedgehog and an enhanced version of the arcade classic Golden Axe. Three other titles from SEGA's Genesis library will be ready for download shortly thereafter: Streets of Rage 2, Ecco the Dolphin, and Sonic The Hedgehog 2.
